About them: Firm founded by friends Floriana Gavriel & Rachel Mansur. Gavriel studied fashion design in Berlin, Germany and Mansur Arts in Textiles in Rhode Island, USA. They met in Los Angeles in 2010 in a concert and they had an idea of creating a bag line that would have characteristics of high-end designer bags but at a more accessible price point. They developed the concept remotely and eventually in 2012 they relocated to New York and founded Mansur Gavriel. They design in New York and manufacture in Italy. Their first success was a bucket bag that became trendy and a favorite of fashion editors and fashionistas. Their accessories are priced at the entry-luxury level, their designs are colorful, trendy and original.
