About them: LA GARÇONNE  was founded in 2005 in New York City by a PR executive named Kris Kim and her husband. She believed at the time women did not have a way to find the designer styles they liked due to limited options, mostly big luxury department stores and a few huge websites.

She wanted to offer a style that would be a mix of casual and effortless but fashionable and original, while at the same time having a boyish influence while still keeping the femininity of the looks.

Her online store has become a place to push up-and-coming designers and she has an eye to detect what is the next big thing.

They have a physical store in the neighborhood of Tribeca in NYC.
